Thank you! July 22, Response from Susan H.
Only a short distance to the campground and to that point, it's really not bad. If your going to continue on the road, say to the other end of the lake, it's pretty narrow. Fine with a car or regular truck. Just be patient Just be patient, enjoy the views and work with the cars coming toward you for passing.
Would anyone know if there's cell service at this campground? June 9, Response from David C. There is not great cell service at this camp ground. We had Verizon on our visit and had very little connection, intermittently, to check email. Not enough solid, consistent connection to check the internet or social media. Several spots on the shoulder are available for parking.
The lake will be off to your right, and a minute walk on fairly level ground just one short climb up and over a short ridge will get you to the water. This is my favorite place to run and part of the Kokanee Salmon trail runs held every fall. To access the more strenuous hiking trails, you need to continue driving a few miles down Fallen Leaf Road, and park near the fire station.
